Every morning from 9:00 till 12:45 –
training program. Instructors – generation of those, who trained the first
cosmonauts, who are named Masters, those, who knew Yu.A. Gagarin personally.
And also new brainpower - personnel, who possesses a high professionalism.
They work today with present cosmonaut team.
For two weeks camp participants were getting acquainted
with the history of cosmonautics development. They had practical lessons
in the planetarium. They had theoretical practical lessons about the space
vehicles control system and docking system. During the docking simulation
girls took the leading roles. Dasha Filatova from Samara and Sofia Novikova
from Nalchik had got an excellent grade. Children also learned about the
cosmonauts biomedical training, observed space crews training in the hydrolab.
They saw a real centrifuge, and what is most important, they saw it rotating
faster and faster. Everyone was impressed with the power of this mechanism
and the fact, that a man can withstand such overloads and become stronger.
Kids remembered their visit to Chkalovskiy airfield:
conditions, in which cosmonaut-pilots are trained, huge flying machines,
and their possibilities. Children were excited with a huge respect of the
aviators to their «steel brothers».
They had a chance to take part in the practical
lessons in the forest, according to the instructors, they were called «survival
in severe climate geographical conditions». Camp participants were impressed
with not only a plenitude of interesting lectures and practical simulations
– they understood, how proud the GCTC veterans are for the things they
made for the Motherland welfare, and that in their age they have an opportunity
to keep the honor and virtue of the worker man and officer.
Namely in such positive interage cooperation,
sharing of experience, telling the historical truth by coevals, respect
to the national memory – there is a salvation of Russia.
