Center’s flying lab jets

The flying lab jets are used for professional cosmonaut training, as well as for technological tests and research of different technical systems, medical biological tests of organisms and their life under micro gravity and reduced weightiness (Moon, Mars, and other gravitation).

The flying labs ensure a possibility of simulating short – duration micro gravity for 25 to 28 seconds.
Flight properties:
  • Micro gravity  session duration with remaining overloads of the free flying objects in the lab compartment ranges from 8 to 10 sec;
  • Overload value - 2.
