Vostok it is a name of the Soviet series

Vostok LR is considered to be the most significant achievement of the Soviet and world rocket industry. Its outstanding power features and reliable design ensured successful missions of the first Soviet satellite- vehicles, placing in orbit of the first manned space vehicle and further flights of Soviet cosmonauts under the Vostok program. Thanks to this LR the space vehicles like Luna- 1, Luna-2, Luna-3, some satellites of Cosmos series, Meteor satellites, Electron and others have been launched.
